Food Truck Nation

Blogging again. Camel Sketching, postering and design process book has led this point. I was surprised to discover how into the whole process I got and how much I enjoyed it despite the hard work and out of my skill level I felt at several spots along the process.As far as the Food Truck Challenge. I am loving the food truck show. As far as ill-conceived reality TV competition shows it is one of my favorites so far joining Top Chef, RuPauls Drag Race and Project Runway. I’m nearly done with the season with only 2 teams left. I can’t wait! no one spoil it for me. Also whilst walking downtown yesterday I spotted a food cart (not a truck) but it did have the type of cuisine I think I HAVE to do in the end, middle eastern, Mediterranean whatever you may call it.

The options I’m thinking about are:

Grills (or possibly Grillz) – Food would feature Kabobs made fast and to order. There would be specials but also ala carte. The branding would included a Camel smiling large and exposing its teeth to reveal gold or kabobs on its smile and probably winking too why not.

Humps – (Lovely Lady Humps) Ice Cream Truck! The specials are Dromedary – 1 scoop Bactarine – 2 scoops.  I’m thinking of Middle Eastern spices or honey or pistachio ice cream.  Caramel Camel could be somewhere on the menu.

C.A.Melt – it’s a sandwich press ala austin daily press.

Camel Tofu – it’s a vegan shop that serves curried and Tex Mex foods.

The Oasis – Falafel and Schwarma Sandwiches
